What is NC2?
In the Philippines, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is the government agency responsible for developing and implementing technical education and skills development programs. TESDA offers National Certificates (NCs) to individuals who have demonstrated competence in a particular area or field through a comprehensive assessment process.
National Certification Level II (NC II) is one of the levels of certification offered by TESDA. NC II is a certification that validates the skills and knowledge of an individual in a particular occupational area or trade. This certification is typically awarded to individuals who have completed a training program and passed the competency assessment conducted by TESDA-accredited assessment centres.
NC II certification is recognized by many employers in the Philippines as evidence of an individual’s competency in a particular trade or occupational area. It is also one of the requirements for many job positions and is a requirement when applying for work overseas for the issuance of the OEC.
