Wati Amelia is a 32-year-old Indonesian helper who previously worked in Singapore for 3 years and 8 months with Chinese families. She is widowed and a mother of one 12-year-old child. Wati completed high school education and can communicate well in English.

Wati has solid experience in elderly caregiving, especially with seniors who have medical conditions. In her previous employment, she cared for a 90-year-old Ah Mah with dementia, assisting with daily needs while also managing general housework, cooking, and marketing in a 4-room HDB household. In her second employment, she cared for an 81-year-old Ah Gong with Parkinson’s disease, while handling cooking, household chores, and grocery shopping in a 5-room HDB.

Through these experiences, Wati has developed patience and attentiveness when caring for elderly individuals who require extra support. She is also capable of managing a household independently, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and marketing.

Wati is willing to care for children, although she does not yet have formal childcare experience. She is also comfortable handling pork and beef, taking care of dogs or cats, doing gardening, and washing cars. She is open to working on off days with compensation and working together with other helpers if needed.
